Double-decker trains set to connect London to Brussels and Paris
The French train manufacturer Alstom has received an order for its popular twin-deck trains from Eurostar, who hope to begin using them in a few years’ time according the The Metro.
This would double the number of passengers per train and journey times would be shorter, as the twin-decks can reach higher speeds than the current cross-Channel rolling stock.
It is hoped that the price per passenger will fall when these trains are in operation.
