BBET to present petiton to Government
We have been invited to present our e-petition at an event organised by Kent County Council (KCC) to be attended by Rail Minister Lord Hendy. The event will take place on Friday 26th September starting at Ashford International Station and progressing to Ebbsfleet International.
Senior officials from the Department for Transport, MPs from across Kent and train companies interested in running new international services will also attend the event. Invitations have gone out to French, Belgian and Dutch elected officials.
This is a huge opportunity to make Kent’s voice heard. Help us give the petition a final boost ahead of this fast-approaching date by encouraging local friends and colleagues to sign up if they haven’t already.
Our campaign is being noticed at the highest levels so we thank you for your continued support. Please consider making a donation towards the costs of emailing, online meetings, printing and hosting this website.
